Por lo general la mayoría de la gente piensa que cuando hablamos de VNV Nation hablamos de Illusion, Electronaut, Honour y una que otra rola, recuerdo cuando concocí a gente de internet que nada tenía que ver con este rollo escuchaba Illusion y se enamoraba de la canción o también recuerdo ejemplos como cuando vino Diorama a México: todos esperando solo a Advance (tuvieron que tocarla en 2 ocasiones), lo cierto es que las bandas no solo se hacen por una canción, esas bandas son mas comerciales y el 90 y tantos % del mundo las conoce porque están de moda, las escucha en el carro a todo volumen y años después las siguen escuchando en cualquier fiesta aunque ni siquiera se acuerdan del nombre del grupo, esas son modas y en este rollo no se trata de eso, VNV Nation es más: es mucho mas que solo 3 rolas, es mucho mas que el pegajoso Honour 2003 o la melosa Illusion: VNV Nation me gusta desde hace muchos años porque cada uno de sus discos tiene por lo menos 5-6 rolas que valen la pena y no una sola canción en todos sus discos que solo se escucha por moda.

Airships es una de esas rolas que poco se escuchan pero que sinceramente vale demasiado la pena, es una rola que me gusta escuchar en la noche con los audífonos puestos para que nadie me moleste, obviamente unos buenos audífonos y no unos de 3 pesos para poder disfrutar de toda su calidad.
